The Lost city of Atlantis Mystery
One of the great mysteries of the globe is Atlantis. Many people’s first impression of it is one of mystical familiarity and long-forgotten memories. It is rumoured to be the long-lost Atlantic continent, the birthplace of civilization, a paradise on earth destroyed by a natural disaster at the height of its might, and now submerged beneath the sea with only the summits of its mountains visible.
Others believe that Atlantis is only a myth that the Greek philosopher Plato created as the setting for the dialogues Timaeus and Critias.
Another theory holds that Atlantis, a true forerunner of early civilizations, was not at all situated in the Atlantic but rather inhabited another region, such as the Greek islands of Crete or Santorini rather than the Azores, Madeira, or the Canary Islands.
I initially learned about Atlantis while attending a Michael Bradford workshop on spiritual healing. During a break, he approached me and revealed that I had previously worked with crystals in Atlantis. Since then, I have done study on Atlantis and consulted with numerous others who share my curiosity and have gone through similar things.
The enormous Greek god Atlas, who is credited with supporting the sky, is the source of the name Atlantis. Atlantis means “daughter of Atlas” in Greek.
Plato claimed that Atlantis was a garden of Eden full of beautiful minerals and crystals, especially orichalcum, a red mineral that was valued higher than gold. A vibrant population, several species of animals, including elephants, and enormous mountains were all present in this earthly paradise, which also included rich plains, rivers, marshes, and lakes. The carpenters had plenty of wood to work with. Herbs, flowers, and fruit flourished and grew, serving both culinary and therapeutic functions. Aside from harbours and docks, the Atlanteans also built temples and palaces. They made use of the native white, black, and red stone that was excavated from the island’s interior. Some of their structures were straightforward, but others were quite ornate, covered in gold, brass, tin, and scarlet orichalcum, and ornamented accordingly. They constructed a temple for the sea god Poseidon, the cause of earthquakes and horses, that was covered in gold and silver pinnacles. Orichalcum coated the pillars and walls, and ivory made up the ceiling. The primary statue of Poseidon himself standing in a chariot drawn by six winged horses was one of numerous golden statues that covered the entire room from floor to ceiling.
There were hot and cold springs, as well as appropriate trees, decorations, and tranquil baths. The public, the kings, and even the horses and animals used these individually! There were numerous attractive gardens and recreation areas, including a track for horse racing.
Ships and traders from all around the world were in the vast, busy harbour.
The wealthy villagers lived in the stunning mountains that were in the area. There was plenty food for everyone in the meadows, rivers, and lakes. It was indeed a land of plenty!
The broad, rectangular plain was crucial to this culture. To bring timber and agricultural products from the mountains down into the city, 100-foot-wide straight canals were built into the ground.
The population was split up into groups, each of which had a leader in charge of a specific region. The population adhered to the laws for many generations while having great and true spirits and engaging in acts of tenderness and knowledge. They led a very holy existence, enjoying their riches and belongings without abusing them. In this “country of milk and honey,” they lived a life that was virtually “idylic,” believing in friendship. According to legend, there were several crystal therapists, masseurs, and healers who were dedicated to the welfare of their fellow humans.
According to a Hopi tale, Atlantis was a place where magnificent cities were built and crafts were in great demand, but when the populace become corrupt and warlike, a massive flood destroyed their entire civilization. The Atlanteans are believed to have gradually abandoned their peaceful customs and turned hostile toward one another. At that point, tragedy struck!
True Location of The Lost City of Atlantis
Various theories exist regarding where Atlantis actually was. Many others hold the same viewpoint as Plato and think it is an island that has sunk beneath the Atlantic Ocean. Others think it’s close to the Greek islands of Thera or Crete (Santorini). a devastating earthquake on theories about the location of Atlantis.

A quarry on Thera’s bottom strata was disrupted by a strong earthquake on July 9th, 1956, and the ruins of what appeared to be an old civilization were discovered. In addition to pottery and other artefacts, Professor Galanopoulous used carbon-14 dating to date human bones, teeth, and burned wood. The findings suggested that these are the ruins of Atlantis.
Along with other smaller Atlantic islands, the Azores, Madeira, and Canary Islands have also been mentioned. The Azores have a similar appearance to Thera—possibly even more so—with enormous black mountain peaks rising straight out of the water.
Additionally, the Caribbean is recommended. American medium Edgar Cayce foretold that Atlantis would return to its original location on the Bahamas island of Bimini in 1968. This prediction was made in the 1920s. In fact, barely a few kilometres from the projected location, an airline pilot spotted an emerging temple of considerable antiquity in 1968. Since then, there have been numerous other sightings, and scuba divers have found stairways in the same location dug into the steep cliffs of the continental shelf.
On the ocean floor, huge circular, broken patterns of monolithic stones have been photographed, resembling a kind of American “Stonehenge.” Scuba divers have also spotted underwater pyramids, vertical walls, and even a large arch. The “Bimini Road,” a sunken wall, foundation, or dock, was initially uncovered and investigated by Dr. Manson Valentine. It is located about six fathoms beneath the surface, east of North Bimini.
The fact that these remains are located in “The Bermuda Triangle,” a region bounded by eastern Florida, Puerto Rico, and Bermuda, is particularly intriguing. It has been reported that numerous ships, small boats, and aircraft have vanished in this area. Electronic drain, spinning compasses, instrument failure, and radio and radar blackouts have all been linked to their disappearances.
One theory is that, as Edgar Cayce said in his psychic readings decades before lasers were widely used in modern technology, the Atlanteans had laser power through enormous crystals.
South America has, nevertheless, recently surpassed all other regions in popularity. Formidable stone walls perched above mountains in Peru baffled the conquering Incas and Spaniards. Tiahuanaco, a stunningly old city in Bolivia, was allegedly constructed so long ago that ancient animals were represented on the local pottery. Many researchers are convinced that the builders of enormous buildings that were built at a height of 13,500 feet could not have been from this planet. These buildings had walls that were ten feet thick, foundation stones that weighed 200 tonnes, and walls that were constructed with such precision and knowledge of physics and astronomy.
Geological findings near Tiahuanaco include salt lines in the mountains, former cornfields beneath the frozen snow line of neighbouring peaks, and sea shells along Lake Titicaca’s shores, all of which suggest that the city was once an ocean port before being forced up to its present altitude about 15,000 years ago during volcanic activity that coincided with the melting of glaciers.
Off the coast of Peru, in 1965, Dr. Robert Menzies shot pictures from the research vessel “Anton Bruun.” This area’s sonar recordings revealed unique shapes along the ocean floor that would otherwise look like dirt. 6,000-foot-deep photos reveal what appear to be gigantic upright pillars and walls, some of which appear to have writing on them. Additionally, the camera captured images of rocks that were lying haphazardly on their sides and some that appeared to have fallen over, maybe during the enigmatic city’s more than mile-deep submersion.
The time may come when people focus their attention below the ocean’s surface and learn the truth about Atlantis thanks to technological innovation, which is currently delving into outer galaxies.
