Bhangarh Fort Most Haunted Fortress in India

According to mythology, the Guru, Balu Nath, cursed the city of Bhangarh.
He had approved the town’s building on one condition: “The city shall be no more the minute the shadows of your castles touch me!”
When a descendent royal (Ajab Singh, Madho Singh’s grandson) erected the palace to throw a shadow over Balu Nath’s prohibited hideaway, he cursed the town.
He is supposed to be buried there in a modest samadhi until this day.
Another myth exists.
This is the story of Ratnavati, the Princess of Bhangarh.
She is regarded as Rajasthan’s crown jewel.
On her sixteenth birthday, she started to get marriage proposals from various locations (i.e., nobility).
Singhia, a tantrik, a magician highly trained in the occult, resided in the neighbourhood and fell in love with the princess, but realised the union was impossible.
Singhia noticed the princess’s maid at the market one day and put his black magic on the oil she was buying, causing the princess to succumb to him upon touching it.
When the princess saw the tantric bewitching the oil, she thwarted his intentions by dumping it on the ground.
When the oil hit the ground, it transformed into a rock, crushing Singhia.
The dying tantrik cursed the palace and those who lived in it with death.
The next year, Princess Ratnavati was killed in a fight between Bhangarh and Ajabgarh.
Legend has it that there are ghosts at Bhangarh, which is why visitors are not permitted to enter the fort after sunset or before dawn.
Locals think that the princess Ratnavati has given birth elsewhere and that the fort and kingdom of Bhangarh are waiting for her return to break the curse.

Between dusk and morning, entry to Bhangarh is rigorously and legally forbidden.

It is the Indian government’s sole officially recognised haunted spot.
The directions are specified on a signboard provided by ASI (Archaeological Survey of India), a government of India entity.
While the board is in Hindi, the regulations on it approximately translate as follows: “It is highly forbidden to enter Bhangarh’s limits before dawn or after dusk.
Anyone who does not follow these guidelines may face legal consequences. “
According to locals, every time a home is erected there, the roof falls.
Nobody who remained there after dark is said to have returned.
With rumours of missing people, eerie vibes that leave you feeling restless and nervous, ghostly encounters, and restrictions on entering after dark, the city of Bhangarh is the most haunted place in our country, according to us (and many others who claim to have experienced unnatural phenomena here).
