One of next year’s superhero films is Spider-Man: Homecoming, and its cast has been announced intermittently, with sites having numerous “exclusive” casting news articles published. So I was planning to wait a while until I felt that everyone had been announced, and now is the time to give a run-down of who is in it.
Let’s begin with the obvious ones first. Of course, Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, and Robert Downey Jr. have all been cast as Spider-Man, Aunt May, and Tony Stark, respectively, for the film.
Other castmates include newcomers Zendaya Coleman, Tony Revolori, and Laura Harrier in undisclosed roles as of now.
Not only have they cast some up-and-comers, they have also added some seasoned actors, including the great Michael Keaton as the rumored villain for the film, Vulture. Another actor to play a villain is Logan Marshall-Green.
In addition to the cast, there are the likes of Donald Glover, Kenneth Choi, Hannibal Buress, Silicon Valley star Martin Starr, The Nice Guys‘ Angourie Rice, Better Call Saul star Michael Mando, Abraham Attah, Isabella Amara, Jorge Lendeborg Jr., and J.J. Totah.
I’ve probably missed a few other casting choices; there were so many that it was hard to gather them all, but hopefully the casting announcements are done.
Jon Watts is directing Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is landing in theaters on July 7, 2017!
