After Donald Trump’s immigration ban, it seems that several tech companies from Silicon Valley have raised against him. The impact of this ban has seriously affected all tech giants, including Amazon, Apple, Lyft and Google.
The response from these tech companies has been long waited. Alphabet Inc.’s Google delivered an emergency message to staff traveling overseas who may be impacted by a new executive order on immigration.
Google wrote in the message: “Get back to the U.S. now.” Sundar Pichai, Google’s Chief Executive Officer, slammed Trump’s move in a note to employees this week.
He told them that more than 100 company staff are affected by the order. “It’s painful to see the personal cost of this executive order on our colleagues,” Sundar Pichai also declared for Bloomberg.

It seems that tech companies will soon be forced to find new recruiting ground to fill high-paying positions that Donald Trump has repeatedly promised to make a core part of his plan to create more jobs.

Moreover, the President of the US is considering a draft proposal to overhaul the current work visa program that the tech companies are using to bring several temporary workers into America from other countries each year.
“Our country’s immigration policies should be designed and implemented to serve, first and foremost, the U.S. national interest.
Visa programs for foreign workers … should be administered in a manner that protects the civil rights of American workers and current lawful residents, and that prioritizes the protection of American workers — our forgotten working people — and the jobs they hold,” a draft of the proposal says.
As we know, President Trump signed an executive order this week prohibiting entry by people from seven Muslim nations for 90 days.
This means that citizens of Iraq, Syria, Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Libya and Yemen would be banned from entering the US for the period.
Moreover, some green-card and visa holders were blocked from boarding flights to the U.S after the order was issued. A high number of people were also detained at U.S. airports when they arrived.
We’re concerned about the impact of this order and any proposals that could impose restrictions on Googlers and their families, or that create barriers to bringing great talent to the U.S.,” a Google spokeswoman declared in a statement.

Mark Zuckerberg was also unhappy with Trump’s ban on immigrations. He declared that he is concerned by Trump’s recent moves to restrict immigration. Another concern comes from Aaron Levie, chief executive and co-founder of Box.
This is an online storage firm worth over 2 billion dollars. “There’s still a massive shortage of talent necessary for our organizations,” Mr. Levie declared.
“We think it has long-term ramifications and implications that have not been thought out, as well as near-term implications that clearly haven’t been thought out as well,” he added.
