If you are a fan of both The CW shows and Netflix, then you are in for a treat as the two have brokered a deal between them to bring the shows to you quicker than before. It has been finally confirmed as rumours and reports were circling the place. The details of such a deal are described down below with comments made by both the heads of The CW and Netflix commemorating it.
The deal covers all current CW series, as well as all future programs produced for the network during the term of the new agreement, which begins with the just-completed 2015-2016 broadcast season. Starting with the 2016-2017 season, Netflix members will be able to stream full seasons for each of these programs beginning eight days after each show’s season finale.
Programming includes the CW’s three new series on its 2016-2017 primetime schedule: Frequency No Tomorrow and Riverdale; the hit DC series Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl, which will join Arrow and The Flash; and the network’s praised Jane the Virgin and Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, featuring the Golden Globe-winning performances of Gina Rodriguez and Rachel Bloom, respectively. The roster will also continue to include fan favorites such as The Vampire Diaries and series The 100, IZombie, The Originals and Reign.
