The Lion King Kevin Richardson is a South African zookeeper renowned for being so intimate with lions that he has been accepted into several prides.
Kevin understands these lions at a fundamental level: their behavior, instinct, emotion. Kevin has slept, fed, and lived next to lions, having worked with many of them since they were cubs.His Wildlife Sanctuary’s mission is to provide a self-sustaining African carnivore sanctuary for the purposes of wild species preservation through education, awareness and funding, especially pertaining to the rapid decline of large carnivores in Africa due to habitat loss, human-predator conflict, unscrupulous hunting, disease and their illegal trade.

Some people might be surprised by what South African zookeeper Kevin Richardson accomplished. But he is on a mission to reveal the secretive “king of the forest’s” other side.
Richardson extends an amazing invitation to the GoPro production crew in the compelling 2013 film down below. Richardson establishes a close bond with some wild lions in the area of Pretoria. S. Africa being acknowledged as one of them Richardson was able to comprehend these magnificent animals more fully than he had before because to their near proximity. by seeing how each individual member of their pride acts, has instincts, and feels.
Richardson had a strong bond with these lions. even covering its lips with his arm without worrying about getting bitten. by having faith in the shared commitment they share Richardson outlines his goals for the Kevin Richardson Wildlife Sanctuary on his website, saying that it would “enable self-recovery for African carnivores for wildlife conservation objectives through education, awareness, and funding, especially in topics of relevance.” African carnivore populations are rapidly falling as a result of habitat degradation, human-predator conflict, savage hunting disease, and illicit commerce.
