While the film did not make the cut for India’s official entry for the Oscars this year, Anubhav Sinha said that he has got his Oscar. Veteran filmmaker Shyam Benegal recently praised the film. Sharing a screenshot of his kind words for the film, Anubhav Sinha took to Twitter and wrote, “Ye raha mera Oscar” (This is my Oscar). Shyam Benegal said, “It is really heartening to see movies like Article 15 being made. It is almost documentary-like in its approach which adds a lot to the conviction of the story”
