Fat Pizza (2003) Movie Review, Cast, Crew, and Summary

“Fat Pizza” is a 2003 Australian comedy film directed by Paul Fenech, based on the television series of the same name. The film is known for its irreverent humor, over-the-top characters, and satirical take on various aspects of Australian society.

Fat Pizza (2003) Film Summary

Film follows a group of over-sexed ethnic Australians on a midnight excursion around the surroundings of metropolitan fleshpots. A lot of it is straight-up farce and raunch, and it’s also unportable – so much of the humour relies on a broad understanding of Aussie pop culture and street-wise sensibility. It says more about current Australian life – or at least mocks it – than any other film that comes to mind. The Elite (Paul Nakad) is a sex slave who is chained to a bed, given viagra, and used by a trio of overweight chicks. It depicts the perils of mocking magician David Cockerhead, who avenges himself by hypnotising one of our heroes into homosexuality. There’s Pauly’s journey across the continent after being mistaken for an immigrant without papers. by a welcome committee in Alice Springs.

Fat Pizza (2003) Review

“Fat Pizza” is not a film that aims for critical acclaim or high-brow humor. Instead, it revels in its lowbrow, outrageous, and often offensive humor, catering to a specific audience that enjoys crude and over-the-top comedy. The film is an extension of the television series, maintaining its unique style and humor.

Viewers who appreciate politically incorrect, slapstick comedy may find “Fat Pizza” entertaining. However, it’s essential to note that the film’s humor may not be suitable for everyone, as it relies on stereotypes and exaggerated characters. The film’s appeal lies in its willingness to push boundaries and its unapologetic approach to comedy.
