She was abducted by Pakistan Army on 19th August, 2023 after she had called out them as real terrorist in a PTM jalsa. She was later produced in the Court by the ATS. Her only crime was to criticize Pakistan Army for forced disappearance of human right activists.
Amidst widespread criticism, she was granted bail, but again rearrested on a different terrorism charge.
